MPS announces the release of the MP-9000-22/40 microwave fiber optic transmitter product lines. These transmitters leverage a newly developed, industry-disruptive, electric-to-optical (E/O) conversion technology. The use of this new technology, along with MPS’s proprietary RF circuits, minimizes system noise figures while dramatically reducing the physical size and cost of these E/O converters.

The MP-9000-22 product family supports broadband RF signals over 0 to 22 GHz, while the MP-9000-40 product family supports RF signals over 0 to 40 GHz.

These new transmitters are especially useful in high-density aerospace and DWDM multi-wavelength applications.
