GPS Timing and Synchronization
Critical operations requiring accurate timing and synchronization necessitate high reliability products capable of meeting stringent performance specifications. MPS equipment can remote these critical timing and synchronization signals without impact to system performance. MPS offers an array of RF Fiber Optic subsystem units for GPS Navigation, Timing and Synchronization applications. These systems are all derived from the OFW-1328 and OFW-3478 product line series and are configurable to meet the needs of many receiver variants. MPS has a long history in supporting GPS Timing and Synchronization over fiber. MPS first entered the GPS Fiber Optic Antenna Link (GPS FOAL) as a support contractor to Naval Sea Systems Command for the NAVSSI GPS FOAL program.
